Sharkies family, as you may already have guessed from the weather yesterday, our situation last night and the continued weather conditions… ALL field training at the Shark Tank is cancelled for today, until further notice.![]()

Please check in with your coaches or team pages for any alternative training options, such as public pools, gyms, courts, etc ![]()

Hopefully we get some better weather and we’ll keep everyone posted on our pages with any updates for the week and any further weather updates. ![]()

We ask you to remain vigilant and keep an eye on our beautiful Club and fields during this weather…
Well. That escalated quickly. Between 4pm today the minutes seemed normal but the water came faster. ![]()

In the space of 30mins between visits, we went from “she’ll be alright” to, “it’s getting pretty high”… then, the call another 30mins after that. “It’s here. We are going…”. ![]()
![]()
Whilst stacking trolley after trolley (each with 20x 20kg bags) of sand bags, our poor beautiful Club couldn’t hold on any longer. She succumbed to the inundation of rain that the drains couldn’t handle. ![]()

And the Community heard the call. You all rallied. You called, you shared the posts, you rang around… YOU SHOWED UP. We had people come down from other Clubs to assist but the brunt of the sweeping, scooping, lifting, clearing, stacking, and more sweeping came from our Sharkies members. The saw the call out and they - YOU - showed up when no other organisation did. ![]()

Soaked to the core, head to toe in the cold and the wet, just doing everything and anything to save our amazing Clubhouse. ![]()
